Job Title: Technical Project Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION Summary/Objective
The Technical Project Manager is responsible for cross-functional initiatives from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, budgets, and timelines. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on project execution, overseeing scope definition, scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder communication. By driving process improvements and fostering collaboration, the position ensures the successful delivery of high-impact projects that support business growth and operational efficiency.
Essential Functions
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive project strategies, roadmaps, and execution plans that align with organizational objectives.
- Coordinate cross-functional project teams, ensuring clear communication, alignment of goals, and adherence to project scope, schedule, and quality standards.
- Define, document, and manage project scope through detailed project charters, requirement specifications, and change management protocols.
- Create and maintain detailed project schedules using appropriate tools, tracking milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and critical paths.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, facilitating status meetings, progress reporting, and decision-making to keep all parties informed and aligned.
- Monitor and analyze project performance metrics, using key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and proactively address variance from the plan.
- Develop, track, and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control, resource optimization, and financial reporting accuracy.
- Continuously improve project management processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance operational efficiency.
- Facilitate post-project reviews to capture lessons learned, identify best practices, and apply insights to future initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies, regulations, and quality standards across all project phases.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern Time Zone. This position occasionally requires long hours and weekend work, especially during certain business cycles.
This role requires full-time employees to work a total net hour goal of 1960 during our fiscal year from November-October. This role is non-billable and does not have additional hour requirements within their net hour goal.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, project management, or related fields.
- 5+ years of experience in project management, including oversight of complex, cross-functional projects.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans aligned with organizational goals.
- Proven experience in stakeholder communication, risk management, and resource allocation.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Master’s degree in business administration, project management, or related fields.
- 3+ years of experience in management.
- Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or similar certifications.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
- Proven experience in change management, process optimization, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Prior experience in public accounting or another professional services organization.
